Logset 8H GTE Hybrid wins Innovation prize in Austria

The Logset 8H GTE Hybrid harvester wins another well-earned acknowledgement at the Austrofoma exhibition in Austria in October 2019. The first acknowledgement was given to the machine model in July 2019 when the French forestry magazine Bois International chose the Logset 8H GTE Hybrid as the Forest Machine of the Year.

In the Austrofoma competition 38 different companies were nominated in three categories: forest machines, ergonomics and small forestry equipment (for example chain saws). The organizer of the exhibition Forestry Association of Austria chose the Logset hybrid as the winner of the forest machine category. The prize is given to the machine because of the great innovation it represents. The hybrid harvester is more efficient than traditional harvesters and it has better fuel economy.

- I feel proud. The prize is an important acknowledgement. This is the first time Logset is participating in an exhibition in Austria, so winning here feels extra special. Also, this is an international show with customers from all around Europe, says Logset dealer Daniel Muller-Habbel from MHD who works as a Logset dealer in Germany and Austria.

Today Logset has approximately 40 machines working in Austria.
